Job Description
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with over 3 years of experience in automation testing tools particularly Appium to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role you will design develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Automation Development: Design implement and maintain robust automated test scripts using tools such as Appium and Selenium for mobile and web applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including developers product managers and designers to understand product requirements and align test strategies.
- Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify document and track bugs using tools like JIRA; collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression tests to ensure stability after code changes or feature releases.
- Framework Optimization: Continuously enhance existing test automation frameworks for improved performance and scalability.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Stay updated with industry trends in QA automation tools and methodologies to improve testing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation or software testing roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript for writing test scripts.
- Handson experience with automation tools like Appium (mandatory) and Selenium.
- Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks for iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and QA best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problemsolving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams effectively.
