UI/UX Designer
Location: Trenton NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Notes: Looking for a UI/UX focused developer Proficiency in interaction design with a solid understanding of usercentered design principles and best practices
Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced UX Designer to drive discovery design workflows and usability testing activities.
What Youll Do
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and other designers to balance user needs and business requirements ensuring we deliver usercentered experiences
- Identify opportunities to optimize and simplify complex processes reducing cognitive load and minimizing user errors
- Utilize the existing Design System and UI styles to maintain design consistency across applications
- Create clickable prototypes to test design assumptions and hypotheses
- Work with multiple application teams to deliver projectrequired deliverables on time
- Perform design quality assurance during development
- Ensure that designs and code are accessible to all users
What Youll Need
- Extensive experience in designing enterpriselevel applications.
- Experience conducting user research including user interviews usability testing and creating user journey maps
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate complex research findings or user/business needs into actionable insights
- Proficiency in interaction design with a solid understanding of usercentered design principles and best practices
- Excellent storytelling communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders effectively
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines
- Bachelors degree or certification in UX Design HumanComputer Interaction Human Factors Psychology or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in UX design
- A strong portfolio of enterprise applications explaining your role methodology problems solved steps taken learnings and outcomes
- LinkedIn profile
Preferred:
- Experience with the PEGA suite of applications
- Familiarity with Agile methodology

- Required 4 Years Experience in Website application UI/UX graphic design
- Required 4 Years User Research Experience
- Required 1 Year Adobe XD
- Required 4 Years Photoshop
- Required 4 Years Illustrator
- Required 4 Years InDesign
- Required 4 Years HTML5
- Required 4 Years Dreamweaver
- Required 4 Years CSS3
- Required 5 Years Overall technical and IT experience
- Required 4 Years Experience designing and documenting User Interface and User Experience
- Required 2 Years WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines
- Nice to have 1 Year Pega Platform
- Nice to have 2 Years experience with Agile methodology
- 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards. Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor.
