Job Description
As a Social Media Specialist you ll be the creative force behind this cosmetics brand s digital presence transforming their rich library of visual assets into compelling social media content that captivates and engages their audience. You ll have the exciting opportunity to analyze trending content in the beauty industry replicate successful strategies and put your own creative spin on content creation. Working directly with the company s leadership you ll implement strategic content plans while having the freedom to provide valuable input and feedback. Responsibilities
- Create eyecatching social media content including vibrant reels engaging videos and scrollstopping posts that showcase the brand s cosmetic products
- Transform existing visual assets (professional video content Broll footage highquality images) into fresh engaging social media content that resonates with beauty enthusiasts
- Capture new content as needed to complement existing materials and keep the feed dynamic and ontrend
- Execute proven social media strategies based on industry best practices and leadership direction
- Participate in weekly strategy sessions with leadership to align on content direction and upcoming campaigns
- Develop and maintain an organized content calendar to ensure consistent posting across platforms
- Analyze topperforming content from industry leaders and adapt successful strategies to fit the brand s unique voice
- Provide creative input and constructive feedback on content ideas and marketing approaches
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience creating engaging social media content with particular expertise in video editing and production for beauty or lifestyle brands
- Proficiency with video editing software and social media management platforms (specific tools will be provided)
- Creative mindset with the confidence to provide thoughtful feedback on content strategies while implementing established brand guidelines
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with leadership during weekly planning sessions
- Selfmotivated with excellent time management abilities and comfort working independently in a remote environment
- Passion for current social media trends and best practices in the beauty/cosmetics industry
- Portfolio of previous social media work that demonstrates your creative capabilities
