Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician for Fiberon Decking you will play a key role in keeping our production running smoothly. Youll perform essential maintenance repairs and installations on our machinery and equipment ensuring everything operates at peak efficiency.
Schedule: We are hiring for day & night shift 77 on a 223 pattern)
Compensation: $2638/hour (actual pay will be based on qualifications & experience).
SignOn Bonus: $2500 during the first year of employment.
Using your skills with hand tools power tools and testing equipment youll troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Youll also inspect and test machinery to guarantee its ready for production all while adhering to our safety guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have industrial maintenance experience with strong mechanical and electrical skills including reading schematics and using testing equipment. They may have completed a technical training program or apprenticeship and are adept at troubleshooting and repairing machinery in a fastpaced continuous manufacturing environment. A commitment to safety teamwork and the ability to work 12hour shifts are essential.
What you will be doing:
- Perform maintenance repair and installation on plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical electrical and equipment issues.
- Use hand tools power tools and testing equipment.
- Inspect and test machinery before returning it to production.
- Follow safety guidelines and report any issues.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma/GED and completed craft apprenticeship or training.
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance power tools and equipment operation.
- Ability to read electrical pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience with electrical testing equipment (Meters and Meggers).
- Able to work 12hour shifts.
