The Center for African American Students under the auspices of the Office of Intercultural Affairs is a historically significant program that serves as a catalyst for involving and supporting African and AfricanAmerican students academic and personal success towards college graduation and an accomplished professional career in his/her chosen field of study. Graduate Students are responsible to assist in planning organizing managing data and conducting a large number of programs each academic year. GAs must also be prepared to expected to provide: Individualized student mentoring and support; student problem solving: info. and referral; academic guidance; walkin reception to students parents visitors faculty and others; and the facilitation of spontaneous group discussions on various topics/current issues
