Withums multi employer benefit plan Industry team provides support and guidance to our clients to succeed in a technologydriven world full of everchanging rules and regulations. In this position you will take a lead role on all aspects of audit engagements from planning to completion to include supervision/mentoring of staff working directly with partners and managers and building/maintaining relationships with clients. How Youll Spend Your Time:

• Leading the engagement team staff on the planning and of an audit review or compilation engagement to effectively and efficiently provide worldclass client service
• Overseeing the daytoday operations of the audit engagement from staffing planning risk assessment fieldwork financial reporting and the conclusion
• Providing supervision and support to the engagement staff and promoting open communication to the engagement manager and partner
• Performing and overseeing attest procedures specific to nonprofits with a focus on developing those specific to trade and membership organizations
• Collaborating with managers and partners on client issue resolution and make recommendations for any legal regulatory and accounting issues that arise during an audit engagement
• Reviewing all schedule and nonscheduled general ledger accounts for accurate entries
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
• Creating and tracking engagement budgets to review for inefficiencies that may arise during the audit
• Conducting constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
• CPA
• At least 5 years of public accounting experience with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
• Excellent analytical technical and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP due to the complexity of the engagements in this sector
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing fastpaced interactive resultsbased team environment
• Strong leadership training and mentoring skills coupled with excellent verbal written and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to clients managementand those charged with governance
• Excellent analytical organizational project management skills strong attention to detail and proven innovativeproblemsolvingskill
• Knowledge of or experience preparing IRS Form 990 990T and related state returns not required
• Knowledge of CCH audit tool not required

The compensation for this position will vary by location. In addition to the base compensation Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role hiring location as well as the individuals skills experience and qualifications. Irvine ranges are from $115000 $160000 annually
San Ramon and Seattle ranges are from $135000 $175000 annually

Los Angeles ranges from $150000 $20000 annually
