Position Summary
The University of North Carolina Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting for an open rank (nontenure track or tenure track) faculty member within the Division of MaternalFetal Medicine. The Divisions clinical programs include highrisk obstetric care perinatal consultation prenatal diagnosis ultrasound genetic services invasive fetal therapy and perinatal outreach. Division faculty members are active participants in the activities of UNCs Center for Maternal and Infant Health (www.mombaby which provides multidisciplinary care coordination for families referred for fetal malformations. Division members actively participate in student and resident teaching and provide subspecialty training for six Maternal Fetal Medicine fellows through its ABOG approved fellowship program. The academicallyoriented Division has an outstanding record of epidemiologic research and is one of the participating institutions in the NICHD MaternalFetal Medicine Units Network MFMU . The Department has an active BIRCWH training program. Biomedical and public health graduate programs offer extensive opportunities for collaboration in basic science and translational research. Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Must be Board Certified/Active Candidate in both OB GYN and MaternalFetal Medicine. Candidates must have competence in maternal medicine and prenatal diagnosis. Candidates must also be committed to excellence in medical education. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
