ABOUT US
The hotel consists of 192 designled bedrooms complemented by Parkers Tavern a highend quintessentially British restaurant & bar along with the adjoining library bar and ballroom.
Set in the heart of Cambridge University Arms is the go to destination alluring visitors with the promise of a sense of modern luxury adorned with moments of enchanting discovery.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
As a Kitchen Porter you will work alongside our team of Chefs in the kitchen and ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen. Your tasks as a Kitchen Porter will include but will not be limited to:
THE DUTIES
- Washing pots pans crockery and cutlery.
- Polishing cutlery.
- Cleaning and maintaining all kitchen areas and the staff canteen.
- Ensuring dishwashing area and washroom areas are tidy and stocked.
- Maintaining food hygiene standards.
- Manual handling or lifting may be required and the work is physically demanding.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- We are looking for a flexible and dedicated person who enjoys being part of a team.
- No previous experience is needed.
- Basis level of English
- Must be available to work a varied schedule including early & late shifts weekends and bank holidays.

RIGHT TO WORK:
In line with the requirements of UK immigration legislation all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documentary evidence of eligibility to work will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
PAY:
Base: 11.47 per hour
Tronc: 1.60 per hour
