Job Description
Position: Upper Level Math Instructor
Location: Sylvan Learning of Glendale

Job Description:
Tutor students ranging from K12 reading and math programs.
Teach upper level math subjects including calculus algebra 1 & 2 geometry and trigonometry to students from middle to high school.
Engage students in meaningful learning experiences tailored to their individual needs.
Provide guidance and support to students to help them achieve academic success.
Oncampus instruction opportunities available for classroom experience.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred.
Proficiency in teaching calculus algebra 1 & 2 geometry and trigonometry.
Minimum 2 years of tutoring experience preferred.
Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly pay rate of $19$23 per hour.
Sick pay accrued over time.
Semimonthly payment schedule.
Additional opportunities to teach oncampus at local schools with an extra travel stipend.
