Job Summary:

As a Lead Sign and Graphic Installer you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of various signage and graphics projects within our organization. Your role will involve leading a team of installers managing installation projects from inception to completion and ensuring that all installations are executed with precision quality and safety in mind.

Essential Functions:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:
   • Collaborate with project managers to plan installation schedules allocate resources and coordinate logistics for sign and graphic installation projects.
   • Review project specifications blueprints and site plans to determine installation requirements and identify potential challenges.
   • Ensure that all necessary materials tools and equipment are available and properly prepared before the start of each installation.
2. Team Leadership and Supervision:
   • Lead and supervise installation teams providing guidance direction and support throughout the installation process.
   • Delegate tasks effectively ensuring that each team member understands their responsibilities and has the necessary resources to complete their assignments.
   • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project objectives discuss safety protocols and address any issues or concerns.
3. Technical Installation Expertise:
   • Perform handson installation of a variety of signage and graphic products utilizing industrystandard tools and techniques.
   • Demonstrate proficiency in applying vinyl graphics installing dimensional lettering mounting illuminated signs and wrapping vehicles with precision and accuracy.
   • Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during installations implementing solutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
4. Quality Assurance and Inspection:
   • Conduct thorough inspections of completed installations to verify alignment placement and functionality of signage and graphics.
   • Ensure that installations meet quality standards specifications and client expectations.
   • Address any deficiencies or discrepancies promptly making adjustments or corrections as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
5. Safety Compliance and Risk Management:
   • Enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for installation teams and bystanders.
   • Conduct preinstallation safety assessments and hazard analyses identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
   • Provide safety training and guidance to team members promoting awareness and adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
6. Client Communication and Satisfaction:
   • Interact professionally with clients and project stakeholders addressing questions concerns and requests throughout the installation process.

   • Maintain accurate records of installation activities including project documentation equipment specifications and relevant permits or certifications.

Required Education and Experience:

• Experience in Sign and Graphic Installation: A minimum of 35 years of handson experience in sign and graphic installation is essential. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully completing installation projects demonstrating proficiency in various installation techniques and materials.
• Leadership or Supervisory Experience: Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is required for a lead installer position. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to lead and motivate installation teams delegate tasks effectively and ensure the successful of projects.

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. Experience with Specialized Equipment: Experience working with specialized equipment such as plotter/cutters laminators and wideformat printers is preferred. Familiarity with digital design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or CorelDRAW can also be advantageous in creating and preparing graphics for installation.
2. Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills are preferred as lead installers often interact directly with clients to understand their needs provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with the completed installations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive client relationships.
3. Project Management Experience: Experience in project management or coordination is beneficial for overseeing installation projects from start to finish.
