Our Promotions/Creative Services Manager must be creative motivated and have production experience writing and editing spots from concept to completion.This position is responsible for managing the Promotions/Creative Services team and producing effective onair promotional spots digital marketingand special projects.
- Work closely with Promotions/Creative Servicesteam tobrainstorm conceivewrite storyboard light and edit compelling onair and online promos lifestyle segments commercials either independently or as a team.
- Communicates with newsroom talent and/or clients to develop a production plan.
- Work in a fastpaced deadline driven environment and ensure that assigned projects are delivered on time
- Makes decisions regarding hiring evaluation promotion and termination of employees.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient editing with Adobe Premiere / After Effects
- Promotional video editing experience in TV environmentstrongly preferred.
- Possess excellent communication presentation organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Assists with occasional promotional events which may include nights and/or weekends
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years promotion or commercial experience
- Strong video production skills
- Working knowledge of lighting audio mixing color correction.
- Excellent communication/grammar skills both oral and written.
- Ability to meet deadlines prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience guiding directing and motivating subordinates including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
- Photography and digital photo editing skills a plus
- Fluency in English.
- Valid driverslicense and reliable transportation.
