Job Description
Role: Senior Accounting Associate
We are working with a growing Real Estate Investment Trust in Arlington VA looking for a Senior Accounting Associate. This role will directly report to the VP of Accounting and Reporting and will be responsible for overseeing the thirdparty outsourced accounting team supporting internal accounting operations financial reporting and supporting accounting and finance systems and special projects. This position is open to due to growth of the business and they are looking for an immediate hire.

Role Details:
- Will oversee and review outsourced accounting team
- Review their work on the General Ledger
- Perform Corporate Accounting for the Fund
- Will answer review and answer any technical accounting questions
- Will perform Monthly Financial Reporting
- Support the Annual Audit and Taxes
- Will support Development and Acquisition teams with adhoc task
- Will Support Forecasting Budgeting and Variance Analysis
Ideal Profile:
- 13 years of Public Accounting experience in Audit Tax or Consulting
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or Business Related
- CPA and MBA is preferred
- Real Estate Clients or Industry experience
