About the role:
Our Client are seeking experienced Drill Fitters to join their team and work on a fleet of industryleading drill rigs. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a FIFO 2:1 roster with highly competitive pay and strong prospects for career development. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining and servicing modern Epiroc and Cat drills in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
About you:
As an experienced Drill Fitter you have a solid background in servicing and maintaining Epiroc and Cat drills with a strong understanding of the technical requirements and maintenance procedures for these industryleading machines. You are highly skilled at diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues ensuring drills are fully operational and performing at their best. Your attention to detail commitment to safety and ability to work efficiently in a FIFO environment will allow you to thrive in this role.
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant Australian Trade Certificate: Certificate III in Engineering Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic (MEM31419 Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade (MEM30205 or Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
- Demonstrated experience working on Epiroc D65 or T45 models and Pit Viper surface drills.
- C class drivers license (HR Desirable)
- Capable of passing a full medical examination including drug and alcohol testing.
- Able to provide a national police clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
- HRWL: DG and EWP (Desirable)
- Working at heights (Desirable)
