Responsibilities
- Provide highquality psychiatric services and document services to the highest operational standards.
- Monitor and report the company goals within the context of client services including quality assurance disease management and clinical outcomes.
- Implement ongoing Quality Improvement Plan Compliance Plan and Safety Plan demonstrating success in mitigating complex risk management issues.
- Develop implement evaluate and train clinical practice protocols in collaboration with clinical staff facilitating the use and adoption of evidencebased practices.
- Participate in the development of clinical information systems and electronic medical records to allow proper utilization of clinical data and feedback regarding practice patterns and performance.
- Work within the company policies and procedures designed to promote the company philosophy both internally and externally while building a positive company image.
- Ensure that all clinical documentation is entered into the Harmony Medical database within 3 business days of providing services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A Medical Degree (psychiatry) plus significant management training.
- Board Certification and four years supervisory experience preferred.
- Completion of physician executive leadership coursework and management skills training is expected.
- License: A current professional medical license issued by the State of California Medical Board and an active DEA number.
- A valid California driver s license current automobile insurance and a good driving record as documented by a DMV report.
- Special Requirements: Must be able to meet and receive criminal record clearance as required by Title XXII licensing regulations. This includes FBI and DOJ clearance. A health screening by or under the direction of a physician must have been performed not more than one year prior to employment or within seven 7 days after employment. Health screening must include TB clearance not more than one year prior to employment or within seven 7 days after employment.
- Must have a valid standard first aid card and CPR card from an accredited institution. Must be physically able to assist clients and /or staff in the evacuation of program facility in emergency situations.
- Must be able to administer first aid and CPR in an emergency situation if assigned to a residential facility.
- Knowledge of facility ordinances and administrative rules and regulations affecting departmental operations and personnel matters.
- Capability to plan work and carry through tasks to completion with minimum supervision.
- Skills in editing using proper English and performing arithmetical computations.
