We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE (Health Safety and Environment) Coordinator to join our team. The HSE Coordinator will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining health safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This position plays a crucial role in promoting a safe working environment and protecting the wellbeing of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement health safety and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local state and federal regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
Provide training to employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
Investigate accidents incidents and nearmisses to determine root causes and develop corrective action plans.
Maintain records of health safety and environmental data including incident reports and training records.
Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of the HSE programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or a related field.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Indepth knowledge of OSHA EPA and other relevant regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organization.
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
