Blue Forge Recruitment proudly represents leading progressive retail and FMCG companies across the country. We are delighted to assist a highly successful Grocery Food chain that is a nationwide brand with hundreds of stores in the network.
Our client is seeking a competent retail leader to manage a modern dynamic mediumsized supermarket store operating with a healthy turnover in excess 15 million yearly and employing over 80 personnel between colleagues and management.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fresh food operations particularly in a highvolume or bigbox retail environment and demonstrate strong leadership problemsolving and performancedriven skills.
Package & Benefits
Contract: Fulltime 43 hours per week
Salary:DOE pension and bonus.
Key requirements for this Store Manager job
- Proven ability to lead mentor and develop a highperforming team by making decisive business decisions and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Fresh Food Expertise: Extensive experience in fresh food retail and supermarkets with a deep understanding of food safety quality control and stock management.
- Business & Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience in driving sales managing P&L controlling costs and optimising margins within fresh food departments.
- Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail ensuring the highest standards in product presentation stock rotation waste management and overall store hygiene.
- Organisational & Multitasking Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks effectively meet deadlines and maintain operational efficiency in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
- Adaptability & Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts typically mornings occasional evenings and Sundays to support business needs.
