About the role:
Under the general supervision of the RRP Subject Specialist Lead Environment & Climate Change the Mtis Nation of Ontario is seeking a strong team player to assist and lead the development of an Ontario wide emergency preparedness mitigation response and recovery program. This is a fulltime position with preference for candidates to be based in Northern Ontario.
This position would be responsible for the development of procedures and protocols for an emergency preparedness mitigation response and recovery program aimed at providing support and a coordinated response to communities and citizens before during and after emergencies such wildfire flooding and extreme weather. This position will be required to work closely with a variety of MNO Branches and staff as well as regional and community leaders to ensure the coordinated development and delivery of programming
