We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Cloud Solutions Architect with a focus on API Management and cloudnative technologies to join our Professional Services Organization . In this role you will leverage your expertise in consumer targeting use cases and data governance to design and implement robust API solutions in regulated environments to help our customers increase their operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with Kubernetes and cloud technologies with a deep understanding of deployment models and orchestration.
How Youll Make An Impact
Provide architecturelevel recommendations configuration and sizing requirements to support Boomis API Management solution.
Work closely with customers and partners to gather requirements and design complex solutions.
Translate business processes and requirements into technical requirements and designs.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand requirements related to API strategies consumer targeting and use cases.
Design and build API solutions that integrate seamlessly within both cloud and onpremise environments ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Analyze API latency and data solvency issues to improve performance and reliability.
Implement and supervise cloudnative technologies including Kubernetes to deploy and manage scalable applications across multiple regions and nodes.
Develop strategies for microservices architecture and transition to modern deployment models.
Monitor API usage and implement rate limiting based on actual usage patterns and anticipated traffic loads.
Ensure consistent management of APIs across enterprise API management solutions maintaining best practices for API governance.
Recommend best practices for implementing managing and governing Boomis API Management offering.
Define and promote the adoption of best practices of Boomis products across the internal and external user community.
The Experience You Bring
Working knowledge of API management preferably with knowledge of Mashery or similar Enterprise API Management platforms.
Previous experience in a handson role involving the deployment of APIs at scale.
Knowledge of rate limiting and monitoring tools to gauge API performance.
Understanding of the orchestration stack and its impact on downstream services.
Experience with training or bootcamps related to Kubernetes and cloud based certifications.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Strong experience with cloud technologies.
Conversational knowledge of APIs such as GraphQL REST and SOAP.
Proficient in Kubernetes and cloudnative architecture including deployment strategies with pods and containers.
Familiarity with infrastructure components such as networking ports and IP address management.
Experience building and managing applications that require high availability and elastic scaling.
Solid understanding of application lifecycle management and performance monitoring for distributed systems.
Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable design plans.
Excellent problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to addressing deployment challenges.

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this position ranges from $163913 $204891 annually (inclusive of commission). Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidates knowledge skills and experience.
