Job Description
We are looking for a creative and handson Design Engineer to join our fastpaced and dynamic Product Development team; focusing solely on new product development tackling challenges in the healthcare environment.
Requirements
This is an opportunity to take products incorporating complex electromechanical assemblies from early concept through to mass production.
Your Contribution: Making a Positive Impact
- Develop new ideas from scratch and create proofs of concept
- Create 3D CAD models and build working prototypes inhouse for evaluation and testing
- Produce full product specifications for manufacture including drawings labelling and associated documentation
- Manage prelaunch product testing
Qualifications and training
It is essential that the postholder has:
- Experience working with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD program
Experience and knowledge
It is essential that the postholder has:
- Handson small tools and bench experience including general metal and wood work
is desirable that the postholder has:
- Experience designing mechanical linkages
Skills and abilities
It is essential that the postholder has:
- Ability to collaborate on activities
- Ability to thrive in a highpressure environment
