Job Description

Job Summary:
  • Preps/submission of manual claims
  • Attach notes/invoices to Workers Compensation and No Fault claims in Carisk (previously known as iHCFA)
  • Attach invoices to manual claims for submission
  • Works returned mail notifications including updating account status
  • Processes and distributes daily billing mail
  • Assists in answer phones and collecting patient payments.
  • Various other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:

Requires high school level math and reading skills and prefer 1 year of clerical support experience preferably in a medical billing setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Administrative / Office Management: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Medical Office: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Experience with Workers Compensation and/or No Fault: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses (Preferred)
Work Days:

Flexible but typically MF 8430pm
