Who You Are
Under direct supervision performs routine assignments as an entry level professional. Develops core job competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems.
This is a contingent position based upon contract award
What Youll Do
As a Plumber you will:
Install repair and maintain pipes valves fittings drainage systems and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
Collaborate with general contractors electricians and other construction professionals.
Follow building plans and blueprints.
Respond to diagnose and resolve plumbing emergencies.
Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
5 years of proven experience as a plumber.
Minimum journeyman required.
Master license preferred.
Backflow certification preferred.
Strong understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential commercial and industrial buildings.
Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches pipe cutters plungers etc..
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure highquality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions technologies and requirements.
DecisionMaking Ability: Strong decisionmaking skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
Clearance: A Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Polygraph is required to start.
