Ellsworth Dispensing Solutions creates equipment to dispense materials on each of those products!

Ellsworth Corporation a global industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Mechanical Engineering Internship available. This role reports into our Ellsworth Dispensing Solutions Division located in Sparks NV. This is a fulltime summer internship opportunity (approximately 1012 weeks).

What Our Internship Program Will Do for You

As an intern you will take your studies and continue to build your skills. You will be provided an individualized work plan that will guide you throughout the program allowing you to make an impact to the business. Throughout this opportunity you will receive coaching from your manager and mentor. You will have an opportunity to learn about our company while working alongside a team of experienced professionals in the field. You will have the chance to participate in a variety of activities and projects designed to give you exposure to our business.

Examples of Internship Projects

  • Create electrical hydraulic and pneumatic schematics utilizing design tools
  • Develop drawings and specifications for existing and new design project
  • Model components to define recommended parts procurement
  • Assist in the design of mechanical systems and/or machinery utilizing design and ERP software
  • Assess customer requirements evaluate engineering design and create complete drawing packages

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a fulltime student in an accredited university or college required
  • Completion of sophomore year and junior year standing preferred
  • Majoring in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail organization and time management skills
