You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe ACLU seeks a Graduate or Undergraduate Intern within the Prospect Development team of the Nationwide Development Resources (NDR) unit of the ACLUs National Development office in New York NY.This Position can be hybrid or remote
The Team:
The ACLUs Prospect Development team part of Nationwide Development Resources (NDR) focuses on a number of prospect development efforts to support major gifts fundraising including prospect identification prospect research and portfolio management.
NDRs greater role is to empower ACLU nationwide fundraising staff to leverage internal and external development expertise resources systems and tools to work more effectively and efficiently.
What Youll Do:
The intern will be part of the Development department learning about fundraising operations at a large civil rights nonprofit organization. The intern will report to the Associate Director Prospect Development focusing on prospect identification prospect research business intelligence and portfolio management. The intern will learn about prospect development in addition to the range of other work within NDR. They will also be exposed to the work of other teams within the ACLUs Development Department. By involving the intern in an array of work within our unit the internship expands the capacity of our team while contributing to a pipeline of potential nonprofit professionals.
