Key Responsibilities:
- Perform highquality ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.
- Monitor and maintain equipment reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Stay uptodate with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology.
- Experience with a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal pelvic and vascular.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
- Current BLS certification.
