We are seeking a Senior Associate for our Commercial Investment Bank (CIB) Client Onboarding and Service (COS) Controls team todays rapidly evolving business landscape effective control management is paramount to ensuring organizational resilience and success. Control (ACE) aim to provide comprehensive support and strategic partnership in all things control related. Providing a proactive approach to integrating controls into the broader organizational strategy.

As a Client Onboarding and Service Advocacy and Control for Product and Transformation Senior Associate within the CIB COS team you will partner on the of the endtoend agenda providing advice and guidance on controlrelated matters. You will collaborate closely with key global and regional partners across Global Corporate Bank (GCB) & Commercial Bank (CB) Client Onboarding and Service as well as Control Management.

Job responsibilities

• Engage with and conduct regular reviews with leadership stakeholder committees or other relevant bodies to validate and assess priorities across the teams.
• Identify potential risks associated with product development and transformation projects. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits providing necessary documentation and support.
• Evaluate and continuously improve control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Undertake problem solving and data driven decision making inclusive of process design reengineering and target state modelling.
• Help to provide oversight of the endtoend system of controls that mitigates risk through active engagement thematic reviews risk analysis and control deep dives which continuously manage and reduce the Businesss residual risk profile.
• Navigate within the organization and align key stakeholders to influence build consensus and execute.
• Deliver high quality consistent and meaningful reporting and analytics to identify trends and themes to support business decisions.
• Provide control responsibilities and oversight for all controls impacting Product and Transformation within the COS organization.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• Proven experience in a control risk management or compliance role within a product or transformationfocused organization.
• Knowledge and experience with Control design and evaluation concepts risk assessment processes OKRs Key Risk Indicator and other metrics development and the ability to assess the relevance of internal and external standards and procedures.
• Ability to analyze problems communicate effectively and confidently and work well in crossfunctional teams.
• Experience working with global teams and managing successful relationships with globally dispersed stakeholders.
• Solution oriented leveraging a network to identify solutions and implement them.
• Proven ability be flexible / adaptable to changeable directives.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Support a culture of trust transparency and integrity. Advocate for partners across the firm with professionalism.
• Exercise some degree of individual discretion and judgement. Act with urgency communicate transparently and often follow up and follow through with an mindset.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

• Payment knowledge
• Experience of Product or Transformation
• Audit CCOR and External Regulatory Exam readiness and management experience.
• Technical and analytical skills / data management quality control experience
