Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of field projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will organize and oversee construction procedures to ensure timely and efficient completion. This role requires a strong understanding of civil construction methods and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall planning and coordination of civil construction projects including budgeting scheduling and resource allocation.
- Determine required resources (manpower equipment and materials) from start to finish while adhering to budget constraints.
- Collaborate with engineers architects and other stakeholders to determine project specifications.
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures regulatory compliance and quality control standards.
- Review and approve project documentation including contracts RFIs change orders and progress reports.
- Plan construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.
- Supervise laborers mechanics and other team members; provide guidance as needed.
- Provide regular updates to senior management architects and owners regarding project status.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Proven experience managing largescale civil projects.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Indepth understanding of construction procedures materials and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health & safety standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with construction/project management software such as Procore Foundation Bid 2 Win or Trimble (preferred).
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
