Job Description

Associated Insurance Management (AIM)is proudly located in Danville PA and has been faithfully serving the community with all personal lines insurance needs including home auto and more. A pioneering small independent agency AIM has an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Personal Lines Account Manager.

Position SummaryThe Account Manager serves as the primary business contact for the client providing customer service to accounts as well as representing client needs and goals within the organization.

PRIMARY ROLE:

Daytoday maintenance and servicing of assigned Personal Lines accountsIncluding but not limited to:

  • Maintaining a high level of client service and satisfaction
  • Marketing & placement of renewal accounts as appropriate
  • Achieving agency account retention goals through proactive accountrounding upselling of limits and coverages and by providing extraordinaryclient service

DUTIES:

  • Support Producers sales efforts by handling accounts once bound
  • Perform annual review and risk exposure analysis of renewal policies for propercoverage incorporating information obtained from client
  • Maintain client files and insure proper documentation by processing allpolicies endorsement changes invoices binders certificates of insurancedocumentation activities etc. according to agency procedures and withinagency timelines
  • Maintain control of renewal expiration lists binders and any agedreceivables in accordance with agency guidelines.
  • Respond to client inquiries incoming email mail and company requests inaccordance with agency guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

  • Appropriate State license(s). Minimum 3 years insurance brokerage orequivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of all lines of personal insurance.
  • Thorough knowledge of brokerage operations includingclaims handling procedures personal lines rating agencymanagement system.
  • Experience in operating in electronic environment; excellent automation skills Outlook Word Excel document managementsoftware carrier proprietary systems and phone systems
  • Excellent time management organizational and verbal and writtencommunication skills
