The Automotive General Sales Manager helps lead a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional value and satisfaction to our customers on a continuous basis. Helps plan train lead and monitor the performance of sales management sales advisors. and support staff to promote 100 customer satisfaction and revenue growth in line with targeted business and financial objectives. This management position is responsible for the sales operation which includes both the employees experience as well as the experience for our clients. Responsible for running a successful operation which includes the development of talent and the overall sales production and profitability of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire train and develop a team of automotive sales management and salespeople while demonstrating leadership and motivation
  • Coach salespeople on standard methodologies for closing deals and provide mentorship to improve sales performance
  • Lead all showroom activities and maintain an experienced level of product knowledge
  • Set sales goals track progress and lead team to achieve and exceed those quotas
  • Conduct daily and weekly sales training meetings for Sales and Product Specialists
  • Forecast future sales and produce reports for management to review
  • Partner with General Manager to plan and run vehicle inventory and daytoday operations
  • Create enriching relationships while assisting customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
  • ManageCRM platform to retain customers and explain product performance application and benefits to prospective customers
  • Provide training and support for the sales staff and assist in closing deals
  • Assist in running controllable expense elements for the department

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of automotive sales dealer management experience
  • F&I andBDC experience a plus
  • Possess a successful history of building and training a sales team strongCSI scores and above average gross and net departmental profits
  • Expertise in supervising the everyday efforts of desk managers and improving F&I income through mentorship and training
  • Solid sales competencies with knowledge of strategies and best practices
  • Leadership skills with a real passion for training and mentoring sales staff
  • Enthusiasm with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Goaloriented friendly personality especially when negotiating pricing
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving capabilities
  • Quality customer service communication computer and basic math skills
  • Clean driving record & valid drivers license

COMPENSATION:

The General Sales Manager Position has a Monthly Pay Range of $5720$14000. Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Salary Compensation of $5720.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
