This is our reset momentand were looking for someone hungry to take full ownership of the backend and build whats next.
Tasks
What Youll Do
- Own and evolve our backend: codebase infrastructure data pipelines and architecture
- Dive into our mature Java/Spring codebase understand it deeply and make it better
- Ship new features that power realworld recruiting workflows
- Refactor and modernize where neededwithout breaking things
- Manage production infrastructure and optimize for performance and cost
- Move fast and collaborate directly with the founder and product team
Requirements
This Role Is For You If You:
- Have experience taking over and improving mature codebases
- Know Java Spring Boot like the back of your hand
- Are comfortable balancing speed with stability
- Can make smart tradeoffs between refactoring and shipping
- Thrive in a fastpaced highownership environment
This Role Isnt For You If:
- You only want to work on greenfield projects
- You need perfect specs or heavy documentation
- Youre not comfortable being the goto for backend and infra
