Role: Stress Engineer
Location: Onsite Richardson Texas.
Visa: Any OPT H1 H4 USC GC.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsibilities:
Perform Static fatigue and dynamic stress analysis for Aero structures
Use of classical hand calculation approach to analyze both primary and secondary structures
Experience in both metallic and composite structures/components
Provide technical solutions from conceptual to detailed design stage
Use of Finite Element Methods for load extraction and to solve complex engineering problems
Participate in review meetings with Client Customer and Suppliers
Engineering Stress report generation and review
Interact with customer; prepare Scope of Work laydown the methodology to ensure that the projects executed meet the customer requirements
Qualifications Basic
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
At least 3 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Stress Engineer
Comprehensive knowledge Stress analysis of Aero structures Nacelle and EBU systems
Preferred
Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
Experience in metallic and Composites structural analysis
Experience in Load stress calculations and preparing technical reports
Experience in Finite Element Analysis tools (Nastran Patran)
Experience in static fatigue and damage tolerance calculations
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
Experienced in PATRAN NASTRAN FEMAP
Experience in MRB and SRM
Experience in CATIA V5 Enovia
