Job Description
Mathnasium of El Segundo is now hiring Math Instructors/Tutors! Are you great at math and love teaching kids Then we are looking for you! As a math instructor you will work with children from Kinder 12th grade in a fun group setting at our center. We offer parttime jobs with flexible scheduling and opportunities to earn bonuses based on performance indicators.
Required Qualifications:
* Great math skills through Algebra I
* Excellent communication and multitasking skills
* Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
* Energetic and confident personality
* Must pass a Math employment test that covers elementary to Algebra 1 skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* The ideal candidate should have experience as a math tutor mathematics tutor experience in tutoring middle/high school students or have a background as a math teacher
* Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses
* Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students (a plus but not necessary)
Hours will vary but generally are afternoon and evenings Monday Friday from 37pm. Tutoring occurs in our safe commercial center. No inhome tutoring. Pay is competitive bonuses and based on education and experience. This is a parttime position with advancement opportunities.

Compensation: $15.00 $18.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing LLC (Mathnasium). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center the franchisee will be your employer not Mathnasium.
