Construction Administration Manager 2833
Location: Phoenix AZ
The Construction Administration Manager (CAM) will work closely with all staff members as well and have direct communication with clients owners developers contractors and vendors. The CAM reports directly to the Director of Construction with accountability to the Principals and Project Directors. The main responsibility of this position is to facilitate the accurate and efficient processing of Construction Administration functions. The role includes review coordination and confirmation of drawing submittals and RFIs the office receives during construction. The role also requires everything related to maintaining and improving the documentation process which includes drawings drawing standards specifications checklists and all contract administration followthrough.
You Have:
- 35 years experience
- Licensed architect is preferred (not required)
- Knowledge of spec writing using SpecLink software
- High Proficiency in Autocad & Bluebeam
- Able to lift and carry 30lb packages
- Able to transport documents & drawings as needed
You Will:
- Possesses a high level of familiarity with a variety of the industrys concepts practices and procedures.
- Stays actively informed of codes and regulations as they change and updates office staff accordingly (distilling and disseminating information needed to keep us current).
- Recommends new policies or procedures to assure the output of consistent and highquality CA.
- Assists in the investigation of complaints and other internal information regarding possible quality problems determine assignable causes (if any) and recommend corrective action.
- Coordinates quality control program designed to ensure production of RFI and submittal responses consistent with established industry and corporate standards and specifications.
- Coordinates the review of project submittals and maintains RFI and submittal logs.
- Evaluates and makes recommendations for productivity gains throughout the drawing and production process.
- Works with staff to stay abreast of all back charges RFIs and permitting/construction issues and incorporates those items into the current CA checklist.

Required Experience:
Manager
