To strengthen our Technology function within Kelvion we are looking for a:

Materials Qualification Engineer (m/f/d)

Were seeking engineering talent to join one of our global sites to drive our Technology function and help shape the future of the heat exchanger industry. Our promise: well give you comprehensive training for the right start into your job and support you every step of the way in our company.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and execute qualification plans for materials coatings and components used in heat exchangers
  • Build up of mechanical thermal and corrosion resistance testing capabilities and perform such tests
  • Lead the material selection and qualification process to meet internal and external specifications
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Document and report results for customer approvals and certifications
  • Work with design manufacturing and R&D teams to select and validate materials for new and existing products
  • Evaluate and improve testing methods tools and equipment

About you:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in material science physics metallurgy mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Experience in materials testing and qualification
  • Familiarity with the heat exchanger industry or thermal management systems is an advantage
  • Extensive knowledge of heatresistant alloys composites and coatings
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Passion for materials innovation and engineering excellence
