As a Tutor at Sylvan your primary responsibilities are:
Just Teaching.No Lesson Plans. No Preparation.
As a parttime Sylvan Tutor you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group setting. You will provide personalized instruction in Reading Writing and Math to students of all levels.

We are currently hiring at our Lima Wapakoneta and Delphos Locations
Tutor Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferred; Teaching Credential recommendedor currently pursuing a degree in Education.
- You must enjoy teaching working and inspiring students. (We want you to be happy here!
- Being punctual is extremely important. You must be local and have reliable transportation.
What you should know:
- You will use preplanned lessons. They are straightforward easy to manage and fun to teach.
- Teach students in a small group setting.
- We require a minimum of two days a week with Friday and Saturday rotations during the school year.
- We are open for instruction weekday afternoons (MR 48pm and F 46pm) Saturday mornings (school year only).
