How will your role look like
The Design Delivery Specialist partners with Design and multidiscipline internal/external partners on packaging artwork projects throughout the design development and design . Responsible for enabling design intent realization ensuring technical fitforuse and print feasibility leads design intent implementation and ensures quality and consistent visual across all product forms and variants in packaging.
This role requires a fundamental understanding of design brand identity and design standards/guidelines combined with understanding of standard industry prepress & printing knowledge materials & substrates and artwork file construction/ requirements. Strong proven leadership communication collaboration influencing and project management skills required.
Main Responsibilities
- Implement 2D package design executions with mastery working with multifunctional (internal & external) initiative teams
- Applying deep understanding of supply chain fitforuse requirements prepress & printing and print feasibility to ensure design intent realization.
- Partner with prepress & printers and Design Delivery resources to assess print feasibility of design concepts identify alternate solutions plan & attend print trials confirm final design intent print feasibility ensure visual consistency delivered at shelf and resolve quality issues
- Plan and manage design work and critical path schedule owns elevating issues with implications to key business partners attherighttime to enable informed decisionmaking and effective resolution and drive timely/onquality artwork file delivery
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously within WebCenter a graphics lifecycle management tool. Provides lowlevel support regarding WebCenter to the multifunctional team.
- Deliver Core Packaging Work utilizing BIC processes technology tools.
- Independently and collaboratively bring innovative ideas/search & reapply learning that drive continual improvements in quality productivity and efficiency.
- Proactively explore both cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities. Able to accurately measure all Design Delivery metrics on a quarterly/annual basis.
- Build capability & mastery in self and Design delivery community and actively drive organization/company process transformation efforts
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages creative and problemsolving
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree ideally in Designrelated field
- English proficiency verbal and written.
- Experience in design production and printing (Design Agency PrePress Agency Production House Printer) within the CPG industry (preferred). Understanding of graphic file construction within Illustrator & Photoshop.
- Deep understanding of prepress and printing and artwork file industry standards print production print processes and press capabilities inks materials/substrates specialty inks/finishes proofing and print trials.
- Understanding of the color management color development process spectral color data and digital proofing. Munsell Test score of Average Discrimination minimum Superior Discrimination preferred.
- Strong understanding of brand architecture design language/identity systems equity assets and application of design principles to achieve visual consistency.
