The company is looking to hire an experienced Group Talent Manager who will not only manage the organizations current talent needs but also strategically plan for the future ensuring a continuous pipeline of skilled and engaged employees. This role is designed to reflect the roles multifaceted nature and the diverse skills required for success in talent management leadership.
Key/Principal Responsibilities:
Leadership Skills:
Lead and inspire a team of talent management professionals.
Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations and minimize legal risks.
Strategic Vision:
Develop and execute a comprehensive talent management strategy aligned with the organizations goals.
Strategically drive the Group s vision to align talent management initiatives with overall business goals.
Ensure a sustainable talent pipeline for the group including the identification of key talent embedding programs to deliver the key capabilities required for success in the future and anticipate future talent needs and trends.
Talent Acquisition and Performance Management:
Expertise in designing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Familiarity with modern recruitment technologies and methodologies.
Proven track record in implementing and managing performance management systems that drive employee engagement and development.
Employee Development and Succession Planning
Experience in creating and implementing robust employee development programs including training mentorship and career development initiatives.
Ensure the Board follows the governance framework and policies and facilitate necessary reviews and updates.
Proficiency in designing and executing succession planning programs to ensure a pipeline of talent for key roles within the organization.
Fulfill other requirements and reflect the company s values
Meet Standards and procedures and adhere to the companys delegation of authority policy.

Lead and manage change initiatives related to talent management adapting to evolving business needs and industry trends.
Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace with a strong ethical foundation in talent management practices.
Manage talent on a global scale with an understanding of cultural nuances and regional differences.
Qualification & Experience :
Min 10 years experience in board leadership (board or committee chairmanship)
Knowledge of what makes a highperformance board and understanding of family business member dynamics
Indepth strategic understanding of Africa & / Or frontier markets
Prior experience as a Chief executive and subsequently in the effective mentorship of a chief executive executive team or participation in a board process
Educational Background and Experience:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Human Resources Business Administration Organizational Psychology or a related field.
12 years of progressive experience in talent management human resources or organizational development.
Demonstrated success in leading talent management initiatives at a strategic level.
Experience in managing talent programs across diverse functions and geographical locations.

Strong critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
Proficient in leading board performance and Skilled at simplifying complex issues.
Effective in guiding discussions. Bold and futurefocused.
Possesses both emotional awareness and business insight.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive talentrelated decisions and measure the impact of talent management initiatives.
