Job Description
Company Overview
A diversified conglomerate in Sarawak specializing in cement manufacturing construction materials road maintenance property development and infrastructure. With a strong regional presence it plays a key role in supporting Sarawak s economic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and monitor the risk management framework (ERM) policies and procedures to safeguard the organizations interests.
- Conduct risk assessments and analysis to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities across business operations.
- Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies and ensure proper controls are in place.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to integrate risk management practices into operational and strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards i.e. Companies Act MACC Amendment Act 2018 Malaysian Code of Corporate Governance ISO31000 and other relevant ISOs or standards.
- Prepare and present risk reports and findings to senior management providing insights and recommendations.
- Facilitate risk awareness programs to promote a strong risk culture within the organization.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to risk management functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Risk Management Internal Audit Finance Business or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in risk management compliance or a related role.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies internal controls and regulatory compliance.
