Job Description

Job Title: Catering Store Keeper

Location: Saudi Arabia

Salary & Benefits:

  • Working Hours: 8 hours per day 2 hours daily OT eligible

  • Fridays & Public Holidays: OT applicable if worked

  • Food Accommodation & Transportation: Provided by the company

  • Contract Type: Fulltime

  • ECR/ECNR Passport Holders: Both acceptable


Age Limit:

  • Below 47 years


Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive inspect and verify all incoming catering goods and supplies against purchase orders.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels issuance and receipts using inventory management systems.

  • Ensure all stored items are properly labeled dated and stored in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Monitor stock expiry dates and ensure FirstInFirstOut (FIFO) methods are consistently followed.

  • Coordinate with purchasing and kitchen departments to manage inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area at all times.

  • Prepare and submit regular stock and consumption reports.

  • Handle daily requisitions from various kitchen and catering departments.

  • Participate in stock audits and inventory counts as required by the management.

  • Ensure secure storage of all items to prevent loss theft or damage.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Formal training or certification in Inventory Management or Store keeping is a plus.


Skills Required:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in catering or hospitality industry within the GCC.

  • Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory procedures in a catering or kitchen environment.

  • Good understanding of food safety regulations and hygienic storage practices.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel or inventory software.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Physically fit and capable of handling storerelated physical tasks.

  • Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions accurately.
