GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
- In projects throughout Canada with a focus on Manitoba complete survey and construction tasks related to the installation and maintenance of cathodic protection and AC mitigation systems.
- The survey tasks may include overtheline depth of cover close interval cathodic protection surveys and voltage gradient / coating surveys on pipeline infrastructure.
- The construction tasks may include assisting with the completion of QA/QC and ITP documentation assisting with the installation of cathodic protection and AC mitigation systems and supporting the project team with labour activities as required.
- Learn to interpret and understand key data as it relates to cathodic protection.
- Learn to interpret and follow cathodic protection and AC mitigation system design drawings.
- Ensure that all required technical reporting is submitted to the Team Leads/Project Engineers/Project Managers.
- Complete tasks related to field testing of AC mitigation and cathodic protection projects.
- Maintenance housekeeping and operational function of assigned vehicle tools equipment and workspace.
- Complete specific project task objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- PostSecondary Education in Engineering or Technologist program is considered an asset
- Must be physically fit willing to routinely work outdoors and able to lift 30kg on a regular basis.
- The candidate should have solid handson technical capabilities valid drivers license be willing to travel and work overtime.
- Good oral written and problemsolving skills are considered an asset
- Good initiative adaptable flexible and team player.
