COASTAL HORIZONS CENTER INC. JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Brunswick/Shallotte OTP/OBOT Medical Assistant (Substance Use Services)
SUPERVISED BY: CMA Coordinator
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIMENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate from an accredited school with at least an Associates Degree in Applied Science and/or Medical Assistant Certification; special consideration given to those with experience working with substance abuse and/or mental health patients.
OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Performs client management and monitoring activities to maintain safety of agency premises to monitor client compliance with program expectations and to assist clients in obtaining recommended medical care.
