You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Solution Architect Network Services will be responsible to design implement and optimize our network services together with the internal teams.
You will be responsible for designing a secure reliable and efficient architecture for network services related to firewalls WAN load balancers and network security components that meets the needs of Continental Tires internal clients. Additionally the role involves identifying synergies across other solutions within the Tires IT infrastructure portfolio to codevelop cohesive target designs.
In detail your tasks include:
Lead the redesign of network services (VPN Meraki RADIUS (WLAN) WAN Internet Access) to ensure they meet the evolving needs of Continental Tires. Develop and design robust architectures for internal access services ensuring they are secure reliable and efficient.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including managed service providers software and hardware vendors technical teams business units and group sectors to understand their needs and ensure the solutions align with their requirements.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance on BPA technologies best practices and industry standards and oversee the implementation of redesigned external access solutions ensuring they are deployed effectively and efficiently.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of BPA services to ensure high availability and reliability derive optimizations and ensure all solutions comply with relevant security standards regulations and best practices.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of solution designs architectures and implementation processes.
Network Management: Oversee and manage network components like gateways firewalls ISE clusters.
Conduct hardware patching and configuration of complex network infrastructure to maintain optimal performance and security.
Qualifications :
Academic degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CCNP CCIE or equivalent.
Proven work experience as a network architect or in a similar role is crucial.
Profound knowledge of stateoftheart technology trends and paradigms of IT
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture or a related role with a focus on firewalls load balancer and network security components.
Skills:

Knowledge in agile frameworks ITSM processes and DevOps (automation infrastructure/configuration as code) is a plus
