OVERVIEW The School Psychologist will provide support to children to help them succeed academically socially and emotionally while considering the National Association of School Psychology and the vision of the Environmental Charter School. School psychologists will collaborate with educators parents and other professionals to help create safe healthy and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home and school.
Key Areas of Accountability include but are not limited to:
- Multidisciplinary psychoeducational and gifted evaluations
- Databased decision making and accountability
- Consultation and collaboration
- Interventions and instructional support to develop academic skills
- Interventions and mental health services to develop social and life skills
- Schoolwide practices to promote learning
- Preventative and responsive services
- Familyschool collaboration services
- Diversity in development and learning
- School community resource
Educational Background and Work Experience - Masters Degree and Advanced Graduate Degree (C.A.G.S. or Education Specialist) in School Psychology preferred
- Pennsylvania certification as a school psychologist preferred
- Prior work experience preferred but will consider recent graduates and candidates graduating in Spring of 2025
- Experience leading and collaborating with adults
Compensation and Benefits $150/day plus participation in 403b retirement plan after 400 hours employment
