Software Tooling Documentation Developer InternJob Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our team for an exciting opportunity to learn and work with ESoT (Engineering Suite of Tools) which is a configuration management tool that interfaces with Autodesk products for automation system design layout and specifications. This internship will provide you with handson experience in a dynamic and growing field as well as an opportunity to contribute to the development of valuable technical documentation.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Learn about various ESoT functions through training and handson practice.
- Assist in writing clear concise and accurate documentation for various ESoT functions.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather information and ensure documentation reflects uptodate practices.
- Organize and maintain documentation to ensure easy accessibility for end users.
- Participate in documentation reviews and revisions based on feedback.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in learning software development and documentation for system design and specifications.
- Excellent writing and communication skills with an ability to present complex information in an easily understandable manner.
- Familiarity with basic software tools (word processors spreadsheets etc..
- Attention to detail and an organized approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with team members.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
Preferred (but not required):
- Previous experience with technical documentation or writing.
- Basic understanding of programming.
