Job Description
Maintenance/Custodial Worker
Job Overview
Perform custodial duties to include overall building and grounds maintenance and repairs.
Duties include but not limited to
- Gather and empty trash
- Clean floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming
- Dusting and wiping down work areas
- Clean sanitize and supply restrooms
- May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance such as replacing light bulbs adjusting furniture or similar activities
- Ensure grounds areas are clean and orderly
- Report major damages and oversee repairs
- Performs related work as required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and other supplies
- Ability to use applicable hand and power tools
