Role: Sr./Staff Product DesignerLocation: Palo Alto or New York (onsite)
Base Salary Range: $162000 USD $259000 USD equity
Who We Are:
Were the Design team at X. Were responsible for creating and maintaining visual and user experience aspects of the platform.
What Youll Do:
In this role youll be responsible for contributing design efforts across the entire product. Youll work closely with crossfunctional teams to create visually appealing and highly effective user experiences. Your role will include:
Designing and prototyping a little bit of everything across all clients (iOS Android and Web).
Leading design projects from endtoendensuring that all designs are aligned with the companys vision and goals creating a positive user experience in the process.
Collaborating with other stakeholders to define and execute on plans and priorities.
Developing and maintaining design systems and standards to ensure consistency across all products.
Who You Are:
Youre an experienced designer with a passion for X and the future of the platform. You have strong visual and interaction design skills and a deep knowledge of best practices. Youve demonstrated an ability to design and ship products for mobile and desktop experiences and have a strong portfolio (preferably including projects from at least one consumer tech environment or agency) showcasing this work. The ideal candidate will also have:
Expert knowledge of design tools including Figma and Adobes Creative Suite.
Ability to execute quickly while maintaining commitment to craft and quality. Youre comfortable in a fastpaced frequently changing environment.
Experience working with contributing to and building design systems. Youre comfortable designing icons.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Youre confident presenting to leadership taking feedback iterating quickly and working across disciplines.
No ego. The X engineering design and product organization is flat and everyone is empowered to contribute.
Uptodate knowledge of industry trends and best practices and ability to apply them to your work.
Strong graphic illustration and/or motion experience is a plus.
