Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Junior Electrician to join our team in the beautiful Villa Haven Maldives. As a Junior Electrician you will assist in the installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties across the island.
- Assist senior electricians in installing maintaining and repairing electrical wiring equipment and fixtures
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and hand tools
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with team members and other trades on construction and renovation projects
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with electrical tools and equipment
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
- Basic math skills for calculating voltage current and resistance
- Safetyconscious mindset with a commitment to following proper procedures
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Vocational training in electrical systems preferred
- Apprenticeship or internship experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a tropical climate and adapt to island living conditions
