Carers at Home Instead aims to make a difference each day for clients. The role involves showing up with a smile making time for a chat and a cuppa supporting with personal care administering medication helping with simple chores going on outings and having fun! Just like anything you would do for your parents. You may be the only person our Client sees in a day so if you are a kind and compassionate person you will make an outstanding Carer!
About The Role
On a typical day you will be working on your own visiting clients in their homes. You will show up with a smile ask them how they are doing and provide companionship to build trust and friendship.
Every clients need is unique however the role includes some or all of
- Companionship services having a cuppa going out sharing hobbies etc.
- Providing personal care bathing and dressing.
- Administering and documenting medication
- Documenting care activities and liaising with the office to discuss changing client needs.
