You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe L3 Network Engineer will be responsible for integrating and adopting new technologies for SDWAN and MultiCloud environments. This role includes designing and piloting new network architectures and deploying nextgeneration networks using SDWAN and public cloud technologies. Key responsibilities include leading the implementation of DevOps methodologies by utilizing Infrastructure as Code to automate rollout and operational processes with a focus on reducing effort and costs. Additionally the role involves managing complex network configurations troubleshooting and providing expertlevel support for Cisco SDWANrelated issues handling 3rd level IT tickets and coordinating with external partners.
You will work in a dynamic collaborative environment steering towards DevOps and agile working practices.
In details your tasks include
Service Management: Driving escalation and problem management processes coordinate complex incident and problem resolution on a global scale with internal IT teams and external service providers.
Stakeholder Management: Assisting customers with process improvements documentation training and usability efforts.
Network Management: Taking ownership of the tool landscape to automate network orchestration tasks. This includes the continuous development of technical and operational service architecture focusing on innovation automation network stability and reliability security and cost efficiency. The role also encompasses responsibility for release processes operational and technical workflows and live deployments in complex production IT environments.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Ensure and perform regular monitoring backup and restore operations to ensure network stability and data integrity.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the transport service including processes procedures and user guides.
Continuous Improvement: Performing feasibility studies and IT concepts market research and vendor evaluations and delivering global complex projects on time and having a strong background in network technologies.
Qualifications :
Education in IT and network areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CCNP CCIE or equivalent.
Expert knowledge in the networking area: network topologies IP protocols and concepts (TCP/IP IPSec SSL VPN DNS) dynamic routing protocols (OSPF BGP)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering or a related role with a focus on SDWAN.
Skills:
Experience with network security principles and best practices.
Ability to handle complex IT tickets and provide expertlevel support.
Experience in automation for onpremise and virtual environments (e.g. Ansible Terraform) is a plus
Proficient in English both spoken and written and intercultural sensitivity.
Experience in managing external service providers and a very good understanding of IT compliance and data security topics.
Knowledge in agile frameworks ITSM processes and DevOps (automation infrastructure/configuration as code) is a plus.
