Job Description

A nurturing Church of England School in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated Religious Education ECT to join our Humanities department. We are looking for an individual keen to explore faith and ethics with our students.

About Our Learning Community:

Our school provides a supportive Christian ethos and a strong community for ECTs to thrive in.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans covering Christian theology ethics and world religions.
  • Facilitate studentled discussions and debates.
  • Assess student progress through various assessment methods.
  • Receive support and guidance from experienced RE teachers and mentors.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Education or Theology.
  • Understanding of and respect for the Christian faith.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to develop as an RE educator.
