Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cobol Programmer with a strong background in local andinternational clearing processes (CI CL). The ideal candidate will have indepth knowledge of banking operations experience with Cobol programming and a passion for delivering effective software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop modify and maintain Cobol applications related to local and international clearing processes.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements troubleshoot issues and enhance existing systems.
Ensure that applications comply with banking regulations and adhere to security best practices.
Perform testing and debugging of Cobol programs to ensure highquality deliverables.
Document technical specifications coding procedures and system functionalities.
Assist in the migration of existing applications to newer platforms or systems as necessary.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to clearing processes and Cobol programming.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
35 years of experience in Cobol programming specifically within the context of local and international clearing.
Strong understanding of banking operations and clearing processes (CI CL).
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with modern development methodologies and tools is a plus.
